Retail Sales Associate

Client Ran Credit Check Required Seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join the Boeing Stores team in Everett, Washington. The Brand Experiences (BBE) team leads experiential marketing and communications efforts as part of the Client Communications function. BBE operates within a Profit and Loss (P&L) model as a strategic business operation while prioritizing brand engagement and activation. The primary mission of BBE is to amplify Client's global brand among the flying public, local communities, customers, and employees. We deliver high-quality, Client-branded experiences and merchandise globally, both in person and digitally, through channels that include Client Future of Flight (BFoF), physical and e-commerce retail, internal custom merchandise, the Client Recognition Program, wholesale and consumer products, and image licensing. We are brand ambassadors and influencers who are passionate about building and delivering a premium customer experience. The Client Stores retail team supports internal and external sales of Client-branded merchandise and other aviation-related products through physical retail locations nationwide. We are seeking an energized, passionate, creative, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to support sales and daily store operations at our Everett, Washington location. The successful candidate will help deliver an exceptional customer experience while supporting merchandising, inventory, operational execution, and sales goals. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will assist customers with purchases and returns, process incoming freight and markdowns, support cash-control requirements, assist with inter-store transfers, maintain visual merchandising standards, support stockroom organization and inventory activities, and help identify and communicate safety, housekeeping, and maintenance needs.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming, customer-focused retail experience and assist customers with purchases, returns, and product questions.
• Process freight, markdowns, and incoming merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Understand and adhere to visual merchandising standards to maximize product presentation and ensure marketing initiatives are executed as intended.
• Partner closely with the Store Manager to execute action plans that support or exceed sales goals.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels to support business volume and customer demand.
• Assist in building and maintaining engaging merchandising displays and current floor sets.
• Support cash-control procedures, inter-store transfers, inventory preparation, and other daily store operations.
• Maintain an organized stockroom and support safe, clean conditions on the sales floor and in back-of-house areas.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards; promptly communicate safety, housekeeping, or maintenance concerns to store leadership.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships while communicating effectively with business partners and stakeholders.
• Prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt effectively in a changing retail environment.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience in retail sales or retail operations.
• Experience using Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
• Ability to safely lift boxes weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand and move, including reaching, bending, and stooping, to handle products for extended periods with only short breaks.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights, as needed.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of retail store experience.
• Counterpoint POS experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Education/experience: Typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate). Ability to pass Background, Drug Screen and if applicable Medical (i.e. Vision, Hearing, or Physical) if Required by Client.
