This role coordinates insurance claims, monitors potential regulatory and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) exposures, maintains insurance documentation, and supports initiatives to minimize losses and protect the organization's employees, property, vehicles, customers, and business operations.

The Risk Management Specialist works closely with dealership personnel, senior leadership, insurance brokers, carriers, third-party administrators (TPAs), and other external partners to facilitate timely claims resolution, support compliance with applicable insurance and regulatory requirements, and identify opportunities to strengthen risk management practices across the organization.

This hands-on, individual contributor role requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a multi-state dealership operation. The position supports consistent risk management procedures, effective communication, and proactive loss prevention efforts throughout ZT Automotive.

Insurance Claims Management

Serve as a primary point of contact for dealership personnel, insurance carriers, brokers, third-party administrators (TPAs), and other stakeholders throughout the claims process.

Monitor claim status, maintain accurate documentation, and facilitate timely reporting, investigation, follow-up, and resolution.

Review claims activity to identify recurring issues, potential exposures, and opportunities to reduce losses.

Risk Assessment & Loss Prevention

Identify, evaluate, and monitor operational, financial, and safety-related risks across dealership locations.

Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies, loss prevention initiatives, and corrective action plans.

Analyze claims trends, incident reports, and loss data to identify potential risks and recommend improvements to existing processes.

Collaborate with dealership management to promote consistent risk management practices and minimize organizational exposure.

Insurance Administration & Documentation

Maintain accurate insurance records, policies, certificates of insurance, claims documentation, and other risk management records.

Coordinate insurance documentation requests, policy updates, renewals, and related administrative activities with brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.

Monitor insurance coverage requirements and assist with identifying potential gaps or changes in organizational exposure.

Support insurance-related reporting, audits, and documentation requests as needed.

Regulatory Compliance & Safety Support

Monitor potential regulatory and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) exposures across dealership operations.

Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations, insurance requirements, and internal policies.

Coordinate with dealership leadership and appropriate stakeholders to address safety concerns, incidents, and identified compliance deficiencies.

Assist with incident investigations, corrective action tracking, and related risk management initiatives.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Reporting

Partner with dealership management, corporate leadership, insurance representatives, and external partners to ensure timely communication and resolution of risk management matters.

Prepare and maintain reports related to claims activity, loss trends, insurance matters, and identified risk exposures.

Communicate significant claims, emerging risks, and unresolved issues to appropriate leadership for review and escalation.

Support consistent implementation of risk management procedures across dealership locations in Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Alabama, and Florida.
